How to get listed by Google fast
How to get listed by Google
fast
Now that
you've created your website, you want it listed in search engines as fast as
possible! I'll give you a few suggestions on how to get listed quickly by Google,
but lets first
get into some fundamentals.
You can only get into Google’s results if Google's ‘internet robot’ called
GoogleBox crawls your webpage(ie, accesses and reads it). So the real key for
getting listed by Google quickly is to get the GoogleBot to crawl your webpage
in as little time as possible.
Going
through Google’s official submission page is a waste of time, as it takes months for
the Google spider to read the list and crawl upir websote
I
offer some suggestions:
1.
Register in a popular forum within your niche, and give a press release
about your website. You don’t even have to give a press release; usually a
signature with your website URL in it are sufficient. Google crawls popular
forums daily and once it sees your link, it’ll become aware of you.
2. Look for websites with your
niche with link pages and contact them giving your link as a resource. Providing that your website has good
content, and you give a reciprocal link, many popular niche
websites accept links on their link pages.
The key however, is finding those popular websites in your niche; or at least
those websites which are crawled regularly by Google. How do you have a good
gauge for
popularity? Google’s magical rating system, PR. You should install the PR
toolbar in your browser so that the PR value of a webpage easily comes up.
Anything with a PR of 5 or higher should guarantee your website being listed
quickly in Google's database.
To download the toolbar, visit the 'Useful SEO Tools' article of this website
And
there you have it! Only two points, but they are enough to get you listed in
Google within 48 hrs. Please note that this just gets you one URL listed in
Google. For example, if you used the link www.pzeta.org
in your signature, that’s the URL which would be indexed in Google.
Google
then crawls your website within the following days.
But
you don’t just want Google to crawl your website; you want to be crawled and
have a lot of pages indexed and eventually have great search rankings!
I
have other articles on another article on 'How to have many pages indexed' so
you will definately be crawled by Google! Other useful articles now that you
have finished your website are 'How to Build Web Traffic' and ''Onpage
Optimization'.
